The Parish is situated in the S.E. area of the town of Worksop , a market and former mining town thirty miles north of Nottingham , fifteen miles east of Sheffield .

How to find us

The simplest way to the Parish is:

from the A1 take the A57 towards Worksop/Sheffield.

From the M1 take J31 and the A57 to Worksop or J30 and the A619 to Worksop and right on to the A57

To reach the Priory Church :

On the A57 at the roundabout marked "Lowtown / Clumber Park " turn north into town.

At the end of Lowtown Street turn left and then first right into Priorswell Road .

There is parking in front of the Church or a public car park just to the north.

To reach Clumber Chapel:

On the A57 at the roundabout marked "Lowtown / Clumber Park " turn South on the B6034.

Take the second left marked " Clumber Park "

The National Trust will probably charge you an entrance fee.

The Chapel is next to the lake and old Stable block.

To reach Carburton Church :

On the A57 at the roundabout marked "Lowtown / Clumber Park " turn South on the B6034.

Take the third left.

Then the first left a "B" road up to Manor Farm.
