The people of the Priory Church of Our Lady and S Cuthbert, S Giles Carburton and Our Lady Clumber Park, Worksop welcome you to our website.
You will experience here a snapshot of our Christian life. Centered on the daily celebration of the Mass, we seek to be a centre of excellence of worship, fellowship and service to the praise of God.
Our beautiful churches have for centuries borne witness to the presence and glory of God to all who pass by. We are a growing congregation of families and friends who don’t have all the answers to life’s challenges, but try to place God in the midst of them and gain comfort and peace. Church Opening
As we are an ordinary Parish Church in one of the most deprived areas of the country our resources are scarce. Opening relies upon at least 3 volunteers at a time, due to the size of the building, which manes we are not able to be as open to visitors as we would like. Church is normally open before and after the advertised services for visits and if we are worshipping in the Lady Chapel, during too. Please if you like to visit at other times get in touch and I will do all I can to make sure you receive a warm welcome.
We are live streaming the daily Mass and Lauds and Vespers on Facebook at the Worksop Priory Group.
Church is open for Mass each day personal prayer each day.
